Get your Fansci bookmarklet here!

This is for you to use on a Zazzle collections page (public view, not backend view). To get your bookmarklet drag its underlined word (NiftyFansci) to your bookmarks toolbar. You're now Zazzle ready-to-go!

Each bookmarklet grabs from the collection page:

This Nifty tool page then opens up with those details passed across. Next, using the sharing image and a maximum of 20 images from the collection, it starts making the animated gif behind the scenes.

The Bookmarklet

You have to make your post / pin manually, so this tool page gives you everything you need to do that. Once the animated gif has been made, it's displayed so that you can right-click and save it to your desktop ready for your social media post (NB weirdly, an animation saved this way, won't animate if you upload it to a Pinterest pin - see the FAQ for how to resolve this).

You're also given a text box containing the title and description from the collection page, and the link to that collection page, which includes your referral id and a tracking code.
You can edit it if you like before using the provided copy button.

You can now drag and drop the gif animation from your desktop and drop it into your post. When you've done that paste what you just copied before finally posting it. You might want to add a couple of relevant hashtags first.

You might also want to change the tracking code to suit the social media you're sharing on.

Nifty Fansci
remember, don't click that link, drag it to your toolbar

So, why is it called Fansci?
